I have been bitten by the reading bug. At first, looking at the required reading for this class, I have to admit I was extremely overwhelmed. Thinking about reading science fiction books scared the crap out of me, to be completely honest. However, the past two days I have spent hours at the Williamsburg Public Library just devouring book after book. I thought I would never have time to read all the books we would have to for this class, and now I find myself wondering how I can "steal" more time for reading! I might even be excited to read some science fiction and fantasy books! Any suggestions for some that I might enjoy are welcome!
Another note: Libraries are such amazing places! I could sit in the Williamsburg Public Library in the Children's section for hours and read picturebook after picturebook and take 20 more home! I guess how you feel about libraries may depend on which one you are in... the library at my undergraduate school used to make me fall asleep!
